Finding Life’s Hidden ‘WOW’ Factor

I’ve had ‘visions’ for most of my life, known things before they happened and been able to intuit many things, but had no idea what it was all about. I found it mostly fearful so I avoided the feelings I had, and what I could see that others could not, until one day some things began to become clearer.

I had become friends with a lady with severe pulmonary disease, she was in fact dying slowly whilst waiting for a lung transplant; she also happened to be a medium.

One day she said to me, “You do know you’re a healer, don’t you love?”

I had no idea what a healer was until she explained and asked for my help, so I began to do healing for her, just as she had explained it. As the session progressed I took on her ailment and felt very breathless and weak, with terrible pain in my chest. After this experience I didn’t want to try again and told her she was wrong, I was no healer.

The Catalyst

Years passed and I found myself in a terrible predicament. I had to flee coercive domestic abuse and found myself in a women’s refuge, starting my life again at the grand age of 51. I had weeks of counselling, which then came to an end with the feeling that things were not resolved within me. My key worker at the refuge suggested I go to the Healing Centre in Leeds and see if that helped.

She said, “It’s right up your street, you’re into other worldly things.”

So off I went to see what this was all about.

On my first visit to the Centre I was with a healer called Kathleen, who practised Source Attunement Healing. We talked for a while and then she began the session. I’d never experienced anything like this before, it was the most beautiful, wondrous experience and I felt so light after. This feeling lasted a few days, with bouts of tears in between as my past trauma was clearing, and I returned on a weekly basis until I eventually felt whole again. 

Eureka!

I then decided to do Healer training with Omnes so I could share this glorious feeling with others. I soon realised why I had become so unwell during my first attempt at healing all those years ago – a crucial part  had been left out, the part about protection by Source.  I finally became what I was always destined to be, an Energy Healing Practitioner, one who knows from experience that energetic protection is paramount. I have been qualified now since 2018 and have also trained as a Psychotherapist. 

So, my journey began at Leeds Healing Centre as someone who was pretty downtrodden and very distressed, ending as someone with wholehearted delight in the beauty and wisdom of Source, who led me to where I was supposed to be, amongst the people who I was meant to be amongst and with the lady named Kathleen, first as my mentor, and now as a colleague and treasured friend.
